Drifting Through Original Painting
Size: 26"W x 20"H
Medium: Watercolor and Acrylic on BFK Rives bright white, cold-pressed paper
Edges: Deckled (hand torn)
This original painting is part of my 2020 'San Pancho Series', a collection of 9 unique paintings inspired by a trip to Nayarit, Mexico with my husband and two close friends. The calm breeze that drifted through the hillside made the palm leaves dance and the curtains sway in the most beautiful way. I tried to capture that sense of ease with this painting. The marks intentionally run off the paper to create an expansive landscape, giving the idea that they keep drifting.
