I'm thrilled to share my latest commission created through a partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line for their ship, PRIMA. I took inspiration from the experience guests will have on and off the ship to conceptualize each painting, and of course used nature as my biggest influence. Once the original paintings were complete, they were scanned and converted into fine art prints for 1,480 state rooms on the ship.
The Ship
Norwegian PRIMA holds 3,099 passengers and its expansive outdoor deck space makes it their most spacious new cruise ship. It has the world’s first venue that transforms from a three-story theater into a Vegas-style nightclub, freefall drop dry slides and the largest racetrack at sea. If I'm not on the dry slide, you can find me at Vibe Beach Club, the adults-only area that has a dedicated bar and two infinity hot tubs.
The Art
The Director at Norwegian Cruise Line was drawn to "Jungle View" and "Fools By The Pool", so I used those as inspiration for the style of expression and color palette with these new paintings. Always inspired by water and tree lines, "Out At Sea" and "Into The Forest" explores the elements and textures of sights that could be imagined from the deck of the ship and an excursion on land.

For now, prints of these paintings are not available to the public. If you're interested in learning more about PRIMA, click here.
Onto the next!
