Art Licensing for Industry Projects

Art consultants can commission or license my high-resolution artworks for their projects in the hospitality, healthcare, corporate, residential and retail markets. I welcome all opportunities, big or small.

What You Can Expect

I have a portfolio of 120+ artworks that are available for licensing, where I provide the file and you handle the printing and framing. My pricing is based on the size and quantity needed. Most of my artwork files can scale up to 72” on the longest side while maintaining a resolution of 300 dpi. My paintings have been professionally scanned at a high resolution and the files have been edited to match the colors of the originals. A 50% installment is required before any files are sent.

If you prefer for me to handle the printing, I use archival, 100% cotton premium papers like Epson Somerset Velvet, Hahnemühle German Etching or Moab Entrada. The paper can have hand-torn or straight edges, and made as large as 60” on the shortest side. I can also reproduce the artwork on canvas as large as 78" on the shortest side, shipped rolled or stretched on .75” or 1.5” deep stretcher bars. Payment is due in full before processing any print orders.

Custom Artwork

My original paintings are made on watercolor paper, in natural white or bright white. I works from rolls of paper in the sizes 51” x 10 yards (356 gsm) or 55” x 11 yards (300 gsm). The edges can be hand-torn or straight. I can deliver the painting rolled, framed or mounted to a wood panel. At least 4 weeks lead time is required to complete a commission. The actual timing will depend on the scope of work and my schedule. My pricing is based on size and usage, with a 50% installment required up front.

Meet The Artist
Kim Knoll

Hi, I'm Kim Knoll—a painter, traveler, and equal parts nature lover and city girl living in the heart of Chicago. Each year, I spend time in different parts of the world exploring on foot, from a big city like Madrid to the narrow canyons of Utah. These experiences inspire new perspectives and guide my work.

From my studio in Humboldt Park, I paint on paper using mixed media to find peace within my environment and myself. I think of things that bring me calm or joy, like the movement of water, different layers of land, and the expanse of open sky.

My original paintings are scanned and made into high-resolution art prints that are professionally printed, framed and carefully packed for shipping.

I hope my work creates a connection that invites you to pause, slow down, and become present long enough to restore your own peace and the simple joy of being.

“Collaborating with Kim is a true pleasure. Licensing her beautiful works is a streamlined process that keeps her name at the top of my list of artists to source, and her pieces so often fit my clients’ needs perfectly.”
