“Loop Around The Lake” references a beloved Wisconsin lake I visit every year with my family, who have been staying in the same lodge, in the same rooms, on the same dates, every year since 1975. I explored the interplay of negative space to create a sense of movement, dimension and depth. The paper is cut and joined, reflecting the layered beauty of the landscape. This piece captures both the lake’s physical and emotional resonance, conveying the calmness I feel and parts of the beauty I see in it time after time.

This original painting has been professionally framed with high-quality, acid-free materials using a raised float mount technique, where the painting appears to float on top of the mat board allowing the hand-torn edges to be seen. 

Shipping in the US is free. Local pick-up in Chicago is also available. Shipping outside the US will be charged separately and determined by your location.
