It's such an honor to have my work in the New & Abstract Group Show #4 in Berlin. My original painting, Loop Around The Lake, was one of many submissions from 58 countries to be in this show, and to my surprise, selected as 1 of the 19 winning entries. 

With "Loop Around the Lake," I explored the interplay of negative space to create a sense of dimension and depth. The paper is cut and joined, reflecting the layered beauty of the landscape. This piece draws inspiration from a 4-mile loop around a Wisconsin lake that's very personal to me, capturing both its physical and emotional resonance. My goal was to convey the calmness I feel and parts of the beauty I see when I visit this lake each year.
