Can you offer different styles of framing?
Yes, you can choose from 7 wood or 6 metal frame styles, customize the border size of the matting, or upgrade to UV acrylic glass. This would be considered a custom order and handled over email. Inquire for a quote.
If you want a lot of framing options, it's best to purchase an art print and bring it to a local framer or find a frame off the shelf that you like. I made a Journal post that gives links to my favorite frames on Amazon. For frames larger than 24x36”, or with matting, please reach out to get my Do-It-Yourself framing guide that gives tips and links to my favorite custom frames.
Can you help me choose the right size artwork for my space?
I put together this size guide that should be a helpful starting point. If you have specific questions or need more help, just reach out to start a conversation.
What is the overall size of framed prints with and without a mat?
The mat and frame add exactly 4 3/16" (4.1875") in width and 4 3/16"(4.1875") in height to the overall art size. Without a mat, the frame adds 3/16” in width and 3/16” in height to the overall art size.
How do I flatten a rolled print?
I made a video to show you! See how to do it here.
How high should I hang my art?
Do what feels right for your space, but if you want a good rule of thumb to follow, it’s this: hang your art at 57” on center, meaning the center of the art is at the 57” mark from the floor. Here's a fun little fact: 57” represents the average human eye-level and is the standard in many galleries and museums.
Do you take commissions?
I accept a limited number of commissions each year for collectors, designers, and curators. Please reach out to check my availability.
