"A Long Way Down" Art Print

Description

This is a reproduction fine art print of an original watercolor painting on paper by Kim Knoll. The paper used for my art prints is a natural white, heavyweight (200gsm), cotton fine art paper that’s acid-free with a smooth texture and matte finish. All artworks use giclée printing with archival-grade inks.

A Long Way Down was inspired by the tall mountain ranges of Colorado, but mostly by the depth of the Earth beneath the horizon that we don't see or usually think about.

Stunning Colors, Inspiring Work

Kim’s work is always top of mind when I’m sourcing art for my clients. I also have one of Kim’s grand-scale pieces in my own home, and I never tire of it — it continues to bring me joy every single day.

Beautiful and High Quality

I had admired Kim’s creative branding work long before she pursued her painting career full-time. I was not surprised at all when I found out that her paintings are equally beautiful. One of her prints now lives on the shelves in my studio, and it brings joy to me daily.

Meet The Artist
Kim Knoll

Hi, I'm Kim Knoll—a painter, traveler, and equal parts nature lover and city girl living in the heart of Chicago. Each year, I spend time in different parts of the world exploring on foot, from a big city like Madrid to the narrow canyons of Utah. These experiences inspire new perspectives and guide my work.

From my studio in Humboldt Park, I paint on paper using mixed media to find peace within my environment and myself. I think of things that bring me calm or joy, like the movement of water, different layers of land, and the expanse of open sky.

My original paintings are scanned and made into high-resolution art prints that are professionally printed, framed and carefully packed for shipping.

I hope my work creates a connection that invites you to pause, slow down, and become present long enough to restore your own peace and the simple joy of being.
