Trust the Pause
If you're drawn to a piece and keep coming back to look at it again, that's usually your heart saying it knows what it wants. The pieces people love for years are almost never the ones they talked themselves into. They're the ones that make them take another look, and then another.
Once you've found yours, here's what happens next: your new favorite artwork will ship rolled in a protective tube. It's not the most glamorous way to receive a piece of art, but it's the safest way to ship an unframed print since rolled paper holds up far better in transit than flat paper does. When it arrives, you might be wondering how to get it to lie flat. Which is why I made a quick video on how to flatten a rolled print, including my personal tip for preventing it from rolling back on itself.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the paper like, and will it last?
Every print is a giclée print made with archival-grade, pigment-based inks on a natural white, heavyweight cotton paper with a smooth matte finish. It's acid-free and FSC certified, so it's built to hold its color and quality for decades, not fade or yellow the way cheaper prints can. If it will be in direct sunlight, just make sure you frame it with UV glass, since there's no paper or ink on earth that can compete with the sun!
What size should I order?
A good rule of thumb: your art should be roughly 2/3 the width of the furniture it's hanging above. So if your sofa is 90" wide, look for something around 60". Check out my complete size guide for helpful info on picking the right size. And if you don't see the exact size you need on my website, just reach out since custom sizing is available.
Do I need to frame it myself?
Yes, unframed prints don't come with a frame so you'll need to get one for it. This gives you full control over the final look, whether that's a simple store frame or something more custom. If you're not a DIYer and would rather not do that work, take a look at my framed prints instead.
