Stunning Colors, Inspiring Work
Kim’s work is always top of mind when I’m sourcing art for my clients. I also have one of Kim’s grand-scale pieces in my own home, and I never tire of it — it continues to bring me joy every single day.

Beautiful and High Quality
I had admired Kim’s creative branding work long before she pursued her painting career full-time. I was not surprised at all when I found out that her paintings are equally beautiful. One of her prints now lives on the shelves in my studio, and it brings joy to me daily.

Meet The Artist
Kim Knoll
Hi, I'm Kim Knoll—a painter, traveler, and equal parts nature lover and city girl living in the heart of Chicago. Each year, I spend time in different parts of the world exploring on foot, from a big city like Madrid to the narrow canyons of Utah. These experiences inspire new perspectives and guide my work.
From my studio in Humboldt Park, I paint on paper using mixed media to find peace within my environment and myself. I think of things that bring me calm or joy, like the movement of water, different layers of land, and the expanse of open sky.
My original paintings are scanned and made into high-resolution art prints that are professionally printed, framed and carefully packed for shipping.
I hope my work creates a connection that invites you to pause, slow down, and become present long enough to restore your own peace and the simple joy of being.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy the prints in a set separately instead?
Yes, every print in a set is also sold individually if you'd rather purchase one piece on its own or add a different print to the pairing. Buying the set together generally saves you time compared to purchasing each print separately.
Can I get one print framed and the other unframed?
Each set is purchased as either fully framed or fully unframed. If you'd like a mixed pairing, you can buy them separately on my website in the way you want them, or reach out and I can set that up for you as a custom order.
How should I hang a print set?
It depends on your wall and what feels right in the space. Side by side works well above a sofa, bed, or console table, while stacking vertically can suit a narrower wall or hallway. A gap of 2 to 6 inches between the two pieces tends to keep them feeling connected rather than separate. Check out my size guide for more ideas on this.
Can you give more ideas on prints that pair well together?
Yes! The sets shown here are of pieces that were painted to go together or have been collector favorites, but I give even more ideas in my blog post The Art of Pairing Prints, which also gives tips for how to create your own pairing.
